Sales Trainee - Electrical Distribution Industry (El Paso, TX)

The Opportunity
You will have a unique opportunity to acquire the necessary aptitude and knowledge of the company, the distribution industry, and Graybar products for future integration into a Sales position.
You can expect to work in various departments throughout the Graybar branch. This exposure is designed to provide a vivid understanding and perspective of the various career opportunities at Graybar through the exposure of the business and products from the ground floor and up.
As you develop a deeper understanding of the business and the products we sell, you will begin to be provided with a portfolio of customer accounts. From there it is up to you, you could go into Inside Sales or Outside Sales.
The Requirements
A Bachelor's degree and/or prior experience in sales or customer service is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen. Excellent oral and written communication skills, good presentation skills, and the ability to be persuasive are a must. Candidates must also possess a professional image. Computer knowledge is expected.
Develop an understanding of Company professional sales process.
Develop an understanding of warehouse fundamentals including shipping, receiving and inventory management counter sales.
Learn responsibilities of the customer service and sales positions.
Develop product knowledge and demonstrate training and presentation skills.
Develop an understanding of quotations processes.
Develop understanding of the importance of continued improvement process.
Other duties as assigned.
