Looking for a change of scenery? We seek a Pharm.D. with five (5) or more years of hospital pharmacy management for the role of Director of Pharmacy Services. In this role you will oversee and manage the overall department operations and assure that necessary manpower and supplies are available to provide quality patient care / service. You will be responsible for the development, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of all department activities and processes. You will be responsible for training and services provided by this position and the department, which must be appropriate to patients of all age groups. You will be accountable and responsible for all departmental activities, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Candidates must have a B.s. in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. (preferred) and five (5) or more years hospital pharmacy management experience. Preference given to candidates who are bilingual (English/Spanish). Must be able to effectively interact with pharmacy professionals, pharmacy support, Nursing, and Medical Staff personnel. Must have the ability to take 24 hour responsibility and accountability for reporting departments. Must have a strong financial background and demonstrated fiscal responsibility.
