Product Engineering What Product Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health Product Engineering is responsible for developing iterations, modifying, implementing and supporting existing products that function within the product families through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering practices.

The Senior Product Engineer will manage and coordinate technical support resources (manufacturing, raw material sourcing, financial costing) directed toward successful completion of programs leading to product and/or cost improvements or new product introduction.
The concentration will be on programs with major impact on costs and/or volume.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Manages technical programs directed toward product modifications and cost improvements in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
Supervises the development of project plans and schedules, and modifies these projects to ensure they meet planned time, expense, and performance parameters.
Coordinates with Purchasing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to insure a smooth transition of product.
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in related field required A minimum of 4 years related work experience required, preferably medical industry Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Experience in Project Management required Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred Source:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
