Team Lead- Clinical Systems


Job Description:

Works with a high degree of independence in implementing and supporting hospital information systems. Under Systems Manager' supervision, provides guidance to team members on task prioritization, planning, and issue resolution. Assists manager in the assignment of daily work and projects within the team. Identifies issues, risks and assists in addressing or escalating accordingly. Identifies opportunities for improvement to increase team's effectiveness and efficiency and develop action plans working with team members and manager. Fosters cross-training among team members to eliminate single points of contact for technologies supported by the team. Serves as a technical expert for a variety of systems and coordinate major project implementations and leads junior staff. Represents manager in meetings and on issues as needed.

2. Skills understanding client/server technology, LAN communications, and a wide variety of hardware, software, and operating systems.
3. Skills working with Request for Proposals (RFPs) and evaluating technology needs.
4. Skills motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
5. Skills using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
6. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
7. Knowledge of healthcare operations, billing regulations and revenue cycle.
8. Knowledge of programing preferred.
9. Ability to communicate orally and in writing as appropriate to different audiences.
10. Ability to translate user requirements into applicable support systems and processes to end-user's expectations.
11. Ability to work with documentation and design.
12. Ability to handle stressful situations and multiple tasks in a support role.
13. Ability to work in a consultative manner (prior consulting experience a plus) with people from varying disciplines and degrees of technical experience.
14. Ability to be self-motivated, analytical, a good troubleshooter and goal oriented.
15. Ability to write specifications and requirements and budgetary analysis.
16. Knowledge of project administration and implementation. Must have experience with MS-Project or other project management tools.

Required
Experience:

A. Work Experience
Three years experience in direct patient care medical/clinical environment.
Eight years of experience in healthcare application support or consulting group. Prior experience with system analysis, system administration and project implementation. Knowledge of healthcare operations, billing regulations and revenue cycle.

B. License/Registration/Certification
None

C. Education and Training
Nursing Degree highly preferred (ADN, preferred BSN/MSN).
Bachelors Degree in a Direct Patient Care Clinical Discipline required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
