Under the direction of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA), the Lead Certified Surgical Tech performs scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Leads team members of an assigned area or function by demonstrating and providing advanced knowledge of job responsibilities.
Skills
1. Possesses effective oral communication skills.
2. Technically competent in tasks within the scope of practice of a Surgical Technician.
3. Skill and ability to concentrate and monitor instrument, sharps, and sponge counts.
4. Interacts with diverse populations who may be under considerable situational stress.
5. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Work Experience
Two years of experience as a Surgical Technician required.
License/Registration/Certification
Current certification as a Surgical Technician required.
Current CPR training program.
Education and Training
High school degree or equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program of study.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
