The Supply Technician Lead serves at the Transportation Department in the Personal Property Processing Office (PPPO) in supporting the installation with Inbound/Outbound shipments and non-temporary storage in regard to Overseas Contingency Operations and in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and Defense Travel Regulation (DTR).
Performs various aspects of clerical work such as storage management, retirement extensions, cataloging and property utilization, inventory control and research related to installation, above brigade level or other transportation activities.
Processes PPM and NTS/Syncada invoicing.
Addresses invoicing issues with NTS, TSP.
DPS invoicing, special bills and Schedule I, II, Ill and interacts with various public entities pertaining to payment history and status of special bills and NTS invoices.
Processes vendor payments, extension and non-temporary storage.
Advises customers of entitlements, procedures and all aspects of various moves.
Performs assignments independently or as a member of the team.
Advises customers on the use of The DPS system in the computer lab.
Ensures that all duties are in accordance with the established regulations and operating procedures.
Seeks advice and assistance on unusual and difficult problems; reviews work on a regular basis.
Reviews overall operations for status progress, causes of delay and other problems that affect or hinder timely completion of the work being performed.
Performs other duties and additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be a U.
S.
Citizen.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have 5 years of related Leadership experience.
Knowledgeable of the Department of Defense Transportation Travel Regulations, Defense Personal Property Shipping System, Central Web Applications and the Transportation Payment systems.
Knowledgeable with the Syncada Payment system.
Knowledgeable in closing out PPM's, reimbursement for personally procured storage, reimbursement of personally procured storage of POV.
Extremely Customer Focused.
Excellent multi-tasking skills.
Knowledgeable of daily office operating procedures Preferred
Qualifications:
Analytical leadership ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary applicable data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon proven applications or interpretation of systematic established guidelines.
An associate or higher degree in business, management, logistics or the equivalent military service schools' graduations to verify the abilities and competence required to perform in a wide scope of supply related tasks.
Ability to provide leadership and furnish work assignments in the form of verbal or written instruction relying upon incumbent to perform assignments independently or as member of a team.
Ability to ensure that all duties are in accordance with the established regulations and operating procedures.
Ability to interact and communicate with agency COR.
Ability to interpret and relay communication in writing or verbally to a higher headquarters and different branches of service.
Ability to provide leadership, provide direction and guidance by ensuring all rules, policies, and directives are followed.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
