Summary
The Surgery Coordinator is a registered nurse who has the responsibility of supporting the Director/Administrative Director of Perioperative Services in the efficient coordination, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivered and is able to independently manage the unit in the absence of the Directors.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to do so
  • CPR certification
  • AORN Certification preferred
  • ACLS or PALS optional
