Our state-of-the-art ER has quiet, comfortable private rooms and friendly, experienced board-certified emergency physicians, nurses, and ER staff dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.
This is for a PRN Night Shift position.
Base Pay
(Night & Weekend Differentials applicable) Need to be available during weekday nights, if this is you, do not hesitate to apply.
JOB
Summary:
o Maintain a clean and organized front desk area o Appropriately greet/address all potential patients of El Paso Emergency Room o Answers phone calls promptly and courteously o Enter appropriate information into our system.
o Ability to verify insurance coverage.
o Fill out co-pay and call logs accordingly and ensuring the accuracy of all required logs.
o Assists medical team with completion of memorandum of transfer and calls to local hospital to initiate/complete patient transfer o Check patients out in an appropriate manner, verifying and collecting any required co- pay for their visit.
o Assists with medical record completion
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using phone systems and computer software - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations - Knowledge of emergency response procedures (e.
