Staff Up to $20,000 Sign-On bonus for experienced Registered Nurse / RN Summary The Emergency department Registered Nurse is a professional nurse who coordinates the delivery of nursing care for the patient presenting to the Emergency Department and manage the care of medical-surgical pediatric patients.
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse demonstrates knowledge in the areas of Triage, Critical Care and EMTALA requirements.
The ED RN participates in-patient and family teaching, provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards of professional nursing practice in the clinical setting Qualifications - External Minimum EducationGraduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Required Licenses/CertificationsCurrent state registration or eligibility to do so.
CPR required of all RN's.
PALS preferredRN's with 2 or more years of experience must have attended an ENA approved Triage Course and have current ACLS, PALS and TNCC certifications.
NRP completed within 6 months of employment at Sierra Providence Emergency Room.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and AbilitiesDemonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills #LI-JP2 Tenet complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
