Summary:
Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of the various group benefit programs.
Provides exceptional customer service, investigates new benefits programs, improves existing programs, and monitors the functionality of all plans.
Provide analytical and technical support to all levels of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Serve as primary contact for plan vendors, third-party administrators, and employees for any benefit related questions.
Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.
Coordinate daily benefit processing handle enrollments, oversee benefits database, and update employee payroll records.
Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the companys benefit package.
Process timely payment of monthly premiums which may include troubleshooting errors and coordinate corrections with the month end process for benefits billing corrections as needed.
Analyze current benefits, evaluating the use, services, coverage, effectiveness, cost, plan experience, and competitive trends in benefit programs and identify the companys stance.
Perform plan audits.
Prepare, collect, and organize data for assessment.
Provide training and support to employees at all levels of the organization.
Assist with the third-party administration process to ensure COBRA & Retiree notifications are sent to eligible participants and payments are handled correctly.
Coordinate payment options with employees on leave of absence to continue payments on benefit premiums.
Oversee and manage performance appraisal process to include 30-day, 90-day and annual evaluations.
Responsible for conducting and analyzing annual employee engagement surveys.
Assist in the revision and/or creation of company policies and/or procedures.
May perform other HR duties through cross-training and may be asked to temporarily cover for other HR staff members while on leave or vacation.
This position may have supervisory responsibilities.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
QualificationsMINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education:
Bachelors degree and/or Human Resources certification preferred.
Experience:
Minimum offive years related experience in Human ResourcesSpecific Skills:
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information; Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Detail oriented, logical and effective approach to problem solving.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate with employees in all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationship with department personnel in a team-oriented environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
