PROJECT CONVERGENCE, JOINT WARFIGHTING ASSESSMENTS, and other live experiment venues.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Serves as an Current Operations Planner for the U.
S.
Army Joint Modernization Command (JMC) and assistant to the Chief of Operations.
Assists the JMC Chief of Operations as lead developer of Operations Orders (OPORDs), Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOS) and Warning Orders (WARNOS), coordinates actions between higher level and adjacent staffs, researchs regulations, guidelines, policies and directives, and manages/tracks tasks to divisions, sections and actions officers.
Specific duties follow:
Manage the Commanders Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) and Serious Incident Reports (SIR)Manage Orders Publication to include Global Operations Teams, ensuring tasked requirements are distributed to the proper JMC division and section actions officers for task execution.
Research regulations, guidelines, policies, directives, reports to ensure accuracy and compliance for when publishing and tracking tasks for JMC.
Coordinate and lead meetings with sections and divisions to ensure synchronization and deconfliction prior to publishing WARNOS, FRAGOS and OPORDSManage Global Operations Team UpdatesServe as liaison between JMC and external organizations to include 1st Armored Division and Garrison CommandManage and track taskings assigned to JMC Divisions and Sections to ensure compliance with tasks from Headquarters, Department of the Army; Army Futures Command; Future Concepts Command; 1st Armored Division; and Fort Bliss Garrison Command.
Collate and format G-3/5/7 situation reports to provide maximum efficiency for the Chief of Operations, the G-3/5/7, and JMC Commander.
Coordinate legal reviews and approval of Operations Orders and taskings.
Assist with management of Long-Range Training Calendar and Master Activities Calendar to identify, integrate, and deconflict key events impacting the JMC commands key events.
Provide editing for all documents published from the G33.
Desired
Experience:
Bachelor degree required.
Masters degree preferred.
Former U.
S.
Army brigade, division, or corps-level plans or operations officerFamiliarization with Future Concepts Center, Army Futures Command, and the Armys force modernization process.
Experience in planning and executing brigade, division, corps, or Joint training exercisesExperience in planning and executing large-scale unit training exercises utilizing an integrated live-virtual-constructive simulation training environmentKnowledge and experience planning and executing Joint and Multi-National operations.
Knowledge of Army Multi-Domain Operations and Joint All-Domain Operations.
Proficiency in MS Office software, e.
g.
Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.
Travel:
10% per year both CONUS and OCONUSSecurity Clearance:
Must possess a current SECRET clearance.
Target salary range:
$90,000- $92,000.
The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
