Summary:
:
The Facilities Housekeeper is responsible for the overall appearance of the assigned Southwest Key location.
With minimal supervision, all duties will be performed based on professional training and experience.
Facilities Custodian may be subject to additional work hours based on need.

Essential Functions:
:
Conducts thorough cleaning of assigned client location and facilities, to include cleaning and maintaining buildings, furnishings, grounds and other onsite property.
Completes Facilities housekeeping, restroom logs and any other logs required per program operations.
Gathers and empty trash from all waste receptacles, offices, and generally assigned areas daily.
Ensures all equipment and supplies are always accounted for.
Responds to all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
Requests cleaning supplies and equipment as needed from supervisor or designee.
Follows fire safety procedures and regulations as applicable.
Maintains assigned client location in a safe, functional, and clean manner.
Other Functions:
:
Removes debris and other trash inside as well as outside assigned areas Removes debris from entrances and exits to all buildings to ensure safe environment.
Uses type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning meetings.
Clean and sanitize restroom facilities and fixtures including sinks, urinals and toilets; wash windows, mirrors and walls; clean and sanitize showers as assigned; replenish supplies in the restrooms.
Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, waxes, strips, and polishes floors; vacuums and shampoos carpets.
Dust and polish furniture, woodwork, fixtures, and equipment; clean desks and counter tops.
Empty, clean and sanitize waste receptacles; pick up papers and other debris.
Help move and arrange furniture and equipment and set up rooms for conferences and meetings Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned Qualifications and Requirements:
:
One year related experience and/or training in janitorial service industry.
Knowledge of cleaning methods and procedures; knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities.
Any educational or experiential qualifications to be considered as equivalent, in lieu of the above minimums.
Bilingual preferred Physical Demands:
:
Bending, stooping, and lifting 50 lbs frequently required to complete daily tasks.
Most activities include repetitive motions and can include overhead reaching.

Predominantly outdoors, occasional indoor monitoring or activities.
This is a fast-paced environment with various sharp objects, hazardous materials, and machines present, and extreme temperatures.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
