We are currently seeking a DSD Payment Analyst to join our growing team in the El Paso, TX area.
Summary Important team member of the DSD area responsible to perform duties such as, pay the invoices from DSD and indirect customers that buys from a DSD, apply approvals from the Sales Managers in the Trade and Promotions Management Tool (AFS) to achieve the team goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Communication with sales and customers to investigate discrepancies from the promotional plans within the system and invoice.
Obtaining all the required documentation for processing trade spend on a timely basis.
Notify sales manager any difference in rates for the promotional activities and request the approval to pay invoice with that difference between the invoice and the plan (AFS).
Index all payments with backup documentation into Doc-Link (paperless tool) Conduct conference meetings with Sales Managers to receive Approvals and/or additional information.
Process all open invoices in a timely basis to comply with the Team Goal Run VIP reports to spot distribution voids and store-level performance for our key stores.
Chain & product review presentations Analyze customer sales plan execution to determine effects and quantify expected results.
Other duties as assigned.

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Emphasis is on excellent communication skills in order to develop clear reports, business correspondence, and presentations for the company.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from members of management.
Overall excellent communication and writing skills.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Must possess exemplary math skills and have the ability to create, draw, and interpret graphs, as well as the ability to use regression analysis, and other statistical tools.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
